Greg and Maria have both been teaching clogging for several years. Maria graduated from BYU in Elementary Education and a Dance Minor. Greg graduated from BYU in Mechanical Engineering. They both work within the performing arts, producing various competitions and shows including all genres of dance.
They both danced on the International Folk Dance Ensemble at BYU from 1997-2000, during which they toured to Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Canada and the Eastern U.S.  If you watch the Disney channel, you might even see their Disney movie debut in "The Luck of the Irish"!
Greg and Maria currently work at BYU as the clogging program coordinators and teach many of the classes there.  Adding that to their duties of the studio and America On Stage, they are completely immersed in clogging!
Greg began clogging at the age of 5 in the Cloggers West organization and toured to Belgium, France, Holland and Israel. Maria began clogging at age 9 in the Cloggers USA Organization and has toured and competed around the U.S., winning numerous individual and duet National Titles. Both were choreographers for the clogging portion of the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Opening Ceremonies.  Maria has also choreographed for half-time shows in the All-American Bowl, Holiday Bowl and Motor City Bowl.  They also enjoy teaching workshops around the country.
They have two children, Bailey and Garrett, who are the joy of their lives!

About the Studio
Rocky Mountain Express Clogging Studio was formed in 1999 joining two studios: Thunder Express Cloggers and Rocky Mountain Premiere. It is directed by Greg and Maria Tucker.
~The studio is dedicated to preserving the traditional styles and enveloping the most modern styles of clogging today.
~The studio currently boasts approximately twenty teams with many of them attending competitions throughout the West. We are very dedicated to performing throughout the community, making annual shows at the Festival of Trees, Summerfest, local retirement homes, charity functions, city festivals and hosting the Christmas Clogging Classic every December.  We also perform in Disneyland every June, and take a select team of dancer to Branson, MO every August who are hired to perform in Silver Dollar City.
~The clogging year begins in September and runs through July.  New beginner classes are offered in September, and sometimes January and June if needed.
~
The levels offered include Novice, Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, Championship and Pro.
Some of the styles that are adapted into their clogging includes Tap, Jazz, Canadian clogging, Irish step dance, Hip Hop, as well as some good ol' Traditional clogging. Fun popular music including Oldies, Top 40, Country, and Pop are used with flashy (and modest) costumes made each year!
Ages range from 4 to 60 (Yes, we do have adult classes!) All classes are taught in Orem, Utah, and are take place on various days of the week
~Our most decorated team,
Rocky Mountain Premiere, has taken five National titles.  At the Junior Olympics in New Orleans they received Overall Gold Medals in Standing Line and Show.  At America On Stage Nationals they have won Overall in Line, Precision, and Show.
